  1. Weather / Climate
  2. Abundant availability of water.
  3. Good civic infrastructure and healthcare facilities.
  4. Efficient administration.
  5. Generation of adequate employment opportunities.
  6. Better connectivity by Road/Rail, Air/Water.
  7. Affordable housing stock.
  8. Good primary, secondary, graduate and professional level education facilities.
  9. Availability of quality social life.
  10. Open air recreational spaces for all age groups; and lastly
  11. Citizens who take pride in their city.

Nashik ticks all these boxes and on a scale of 1  to 10 scores a good 7 on all these counts. What is heartening that over the period of last decade, these ratings have only seen an upward movement.

  • Weather / climate :

Nashik was, is and will always remain one of the least polluted cities in Maharashtra. Excellent climate only adds to its charm.

  • Abundant availability of water:

Nashik receives adequate rainfall and surrounding catchment areas and dams built on its rivers ensure year round supply of water to its 20 Lakhs + residents.

  • Good Infrastructure and Healthcare Facilities.

Infrastructure growth in Nashik has kept pace with its population growth and has proven to be not only adequate but also futuristic.

Because of its excellent climate and affordable real estate prices, Nashik has one of the highest ratios of Medical Professional to General Population. The top class Diagnostic Facilities and well equipped hospitals puts Nashik in the league of Medical Tourism destinations.

  • Efficient Administration:

Clean and efficient administration with minimum response time to citizen’s grievances has helped Nashik acquire a reputation one of the few well managed cities in India.

  • Adequate Employment Opportunities.

With two prominent MIDCs at Ambad and Satpur and the upcoming ones in satellite areas like Sinnar, Gonde and Igatpuri, there are enough employment opportunities for deserving candidates. Nashik is also home to automobile ancillary industry and offices of almost all service industries like Banks, Insurance companies, entertainment and hospitality sector. Town ships of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited and presence of a large military establishment further increases the employment potential. This ever growing employment opportunities has seen Youth from mofussil towns like Niphad, Malegaon, Dhule, Jalgaon etc. flocking to Nashik in a big way.

  • Better Connectivity:

Nashik is one of the angles of Golden Triangle of Mumbai – Nashik – Pune. The recently completed four laning of Mumbai Nashik and Pune Nashik expressways has put Nashik within 4 hours reach of both these Metros. All north and east bound trains originating from Mumbai halt at Nashik. With the airports at Shirdi and Ozar being made available for commercial flights, Nashik is on India’s commercial airmap too.

  • Affordable Housing:

Launch of Prime Minister Awas Yojana (PMAY) has put Nashik as one of the dream destinations for first home buyers. Also proximity of Nashik to Mumbai and Pune has seen many upmarket residential projects being launched in Nashik in order to satisfy the “Second Home” needs of the more discerning buyers.

  • Good Educational Facilities:

Nashik has some of the most prominent international schools as well as local schools run by private organisations and municipal bodies. Its engineering and Medical institutes are also well known and sought after. This attracts a large student population not only from mofussil towns, but from all over India. Young professionals wanting to set up their practice or business see this as an important advantage for settling in Nashik.

  • Availability of Quality Social Life.

Increase in young population of Nashik with high disposable income has resulted in growth of many recreational facilities social / family clubs, gymkhanas, resorts, restaurants etc. Many high profile clothing brands have started merchandising their goods from equally high profile malls and retail outlets. With this Nashik is witnessing a slow but steady trend reversal of nashikites visiting Bumbai / Pune for quality shopping.

  • Open Air Recreational Spaces.

Every locality in Nashik boasts of its own jogging track and gardens for kids as well as senior citizens.  Most of the large housing complexes also have their own recreational facilities. Nashik has one of the highest cyclist population, earning Nashik the tile of Bicycle capital of India. Modest population also results in modest vehicle density on roads thus leaving major Nashik roads congestion free. This makes commuting easy and fast making a lot of spare time available to pursue one’s hobbies and fitness goals.

However, what makes Nashik a very attractive proposition to stay in is the recent  Government initiatives like having a dedicated connect to the Samruddhi corridor which will further decrease commuting time between Mumbai and Nashik, government’s intent to convert Nashik into a smart city and plans to connect the city to major metros in India from its Ozar Airport. Chief Minister has recently declared to overhaul its city transportation service and has openly declared that he has adopted Nashik thus indicating that government’s major infrastructure spend in the recent years will flow in its further speedy development. All these initiatives are going to make Nashik the most desirable city in Maharashtra to stay in.

Suyojit has been a major player in changing Nashik’s infrastructure space. It’s ambitious Viridian Vallis residential / commercial project spread over 100 acres of pristine surroundings overlooking River Godavari has fast progressing. When completed this strategically placed township which is less than 1 ½ kms from elite College Road and just a kilometre away from fast developing Gangapur Road will be the most sought after residential and commercial address in Nashik.
